The 60-minute performance, is designed to utilize and employ the absolutely essential expressive means of theatrical art: the body and the voice.
An actress (Pythia) and a musician with various instruments (percussion, wind, etc.) serve as conduits for the text and music, exploring and developing a dialogue that resembles a mystic dance or an ancient ritual.
What would Pythia shout amidst the ruins of philosophy and beauty today? What prophecy would she deliver to people who are unaware of her existence? This is the subject of "Oracle," a delirious monologue of a woman who emerges from time to converse with the people of today.
